Basic Information: The purpose of Student Ambassadors is to assist the Admissions Director in recruiting prospective students by sharing time and ideas for visits, Open House, freshman admissions test(s), or other activities. Student Ambassadors serve as representatives for the entire student body. The organization consists of students interested in promoting the positive image of Catholic Central High School! As a Student Ambassador, you are expected to be present at all meetings. Meetings will be planned sufficiently in advance to allow you to schedule around them. In the event that you cannot attend, notify Mrs. Kresken immediately! Two unexcused absences may result in suspension from the organization. New Ambassadors are required to attend a summer training workshop in the summer, to assist at the Freshman Welcome Mass and assist at Open House. Plan your work schedule accordingly. |

| Expectations: 1. Be in good academic standing (G.P.A. of 2.50 or better by the end of 1st quarter). 2. Be knowledgeable about CCHS. Believe in CCHS, and be loyal to it. 3. Represent CCHS in the most positive light possible. 4. Be willing to participate whenever needed. 5. Be neatly groomed and appropriately dressed when dealing with prospective students and their families and in the community. 6. Be polite, courteous, friendly, warm, understanding, and helpful. 7. Be enthusiastic! 8. Be willing to use study halls, lunch hours, etc. to rehearse and work on projects. Before or after school practices may be necessary as well. |

| Duties -Travel to area schools and share experiences with prospective students. -Give tours or welcome families at Open House or alumni events. -Help with liturgies and events at parishes, schools and in the public. -Write letters or make phone calls to prospective students. -Help with the set-up of activities for prospective students. -Attend meetings and information sessions. -Contribute ideas. |
